Sydney has worked with choreographers such as Kanji Segawa, Brice Mousset, Darshan Bhuller, Natalie Lomonte, Adrienne Hurd, and Jaqulyn Buglisi, and Adam Barruch.  Her first full length choreographic work, “...and then there were stars” premiered March 1st, 2018 at the Ailey Studio Theater.  Sydney is a dancer and choreographer, and while she enjoys all genres of dance, she has a particular affinity for contemporary and improvisational styles.

Originally from San Diego, California, Sydney began her dance training at the age of nine at Ramona/Julian Academy of Dance and Signature Dance Academy, where she studied Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, and Hip Hop.  With Signature Dance Academy she won several national titles at competitions for a contemporary pointe solo choreographed by Kristie Cordle-Infante of California Ballet.  Sydney was also Vice president and Head Choreographer of Ramona High School’s dance production group.  She has studied at The Rock School, San Diego City Ballet, San Diego Ballet and The Ailey School.  She recently graduated in May of 2018 from Fordham University/The Ailey School with a BFA in Dance.

Sydney is currently collaborating with Rose Royce for a new choreographic work for musician Gary Schall, with a performance on February 17th at Dixon Place.  She is also dancing in and choreographing for new music videos by Fade On and Kathy Zimmer.

Sydney is available for long or short term dance projects as well as commissioned choreography.
